Great Lakes Coca-Cola

Novak served as the design-build general contractor for the 14,500-square-foot office addition at the Great Lakes Coca-Cola Alsip campus. OKW served as the architect. This project includes significant site work to improve campus cohesion, new office shell and interior construction, and renovations within the existing distribution center. Novak was responsible for the seamless coordination of the architect, consultants, and design-build subcontractors to maintain the budget and deliver the office space by the client’s deadline.

OKW created several concepts for the existing space, all of which expanded on the office, which would include a significant branding element, all while integrating it with the warehouse. They considered using corrugated metal and glass for the facade, and light woods for the interior. Graphics along the walls, along with pops of red to highlight their signature client, Coca-Cola, would tie the various areas of the office together.
