Novak served as General Contractor for over five projects at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. These projects included a remodel of the Arkes Family Pavilion, a multi-phase renovation of the Biomedical Engineering and Pathology Gross Lab, a build-out of the Imaging Center, renovation of the Radiosurgery Department as well as the remodel of the patient-occupied Interventional Radiology wing.
These projects provided patients with new and advanced technology. This advancement gave Northwestern Memorial Hospital the lead as the only academic medical center in Illinois to offer Gamma Knife Radiosurgery. The multi-phased renovation of the Biomedical Engineering and Pathology Gross Lab was also successful as it was Chicago’s first medical space to achieve LEED Silver status.
